Managing risks, whether fraud, corruption, regulatory or economic and financial crime-related, requires a thorough, professional and independent approach. As a trainee you will gain exposure to the world of forensics through formal and practical on-the-job training, further developing your skillst in:

You’ll be:

  • Assisting with the compilation of draft forensic reports and appendices
  • Analysing financial and other data
  • Collecting, documenting and analysing relevant evidence
  • Assessing economic crime, i.e. fraud and corruption
  • Assisting with conducting forensic interviews
  • Transcribing interview notes
  • Assisting in business development (proposals and risk management)
  • Assisting in research-related tasks
  • Ensuring that the correct organisational model is in place to deliver highly effective service to the organisation and its clients
  • Maintaining a positive view of PwC’s culture, values and reputation

Requirements

Knowledge and skills

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Analytical and critical thinking
  • Attention to detail
  • Building networks and good relationships
  • Problem solving
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Willing to travel and to work long hours

Requirements:

A relevant qualification in one of the following:

  • LLB Law
  • BCom Law (Honours)
  • BCom Honours Accounting - Non-CA route
  • BCom Honours Forensic Accounting
  • BCom Honours Risk Management
  • BCom Economics/ Econometrics (Honours)
  • BCom General (Honours)
  • BA Criminology (Honours)
  • Forensic Science and Technology
